1. Infrastructure and Storage Facilities at MVS Pharma Warehouse

Our warehouse is designed to meet the highest standards required for storing medicinal products. We maintain dedicated temperature zones for products requiring ambient (15°C-25°C) conditions.

Continuous temperature and humidity monitoring systems are installed to ensure environmental stability, with alerts and alarms triggered for any deviations. Our air conditioning system and monitoring devices are validated and regularly calibrated. Separate quarantine zones are designated for products pending batch release or flagged for quality concerns.

2. Receiving and Inspection

Incoming medicinal products are carefully handled. All received goods are cross-checked against shipping documents to verify accuracy, including product name, batch number, and quantity. Visual inspection for damage, tampering, or non-compliance with labeling requirements is performed. Products are then placed in the quarantine area until released by the Qualified Person (QP).

For more about Inspection, explore our article ‘Medicinal Product Lab Testing – Why is it Necessary?’

3 . Storage and Inventory Management

We strictly follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) principles to manage inventory effectively. Each batch is stored separately with clear labeling to prevent mix-ups, and regular stock rotation ensures compliance with FEFO policies.

Our Odoo software tracks inventory in real time, including batch numbers, expiry dates, and storage locations.

4. Temperature and Humidity Control

Daily temperature and humidity logs are maintained and reviewed to identify trends or deviations. Monitoring of temperature is performed by an online smart app for data loggers. Our warehouse manager is responsible to monitor and record the temperature daily on the Daily Temperature Monitoring Log.

The data loggers notify to warehouse manager via alert SMS on mobile phones and via email if the temperature exceeds the set temperature limits. In case of environmental deviations, affected products are immediately quarantined for quality assessment.

5 . Handling and Dispatch (Storage and Handling of Medicinal Products at MVS Pharma Warehouse)

All products are handled by trained personnel to avoid damage or contamination. Medicinal products are packed using validated materials to maintain required storage conditions during transit.

Vehicles equipped with temperature monitoring and controls are used for delivery, and every dispatch is accompanied by appropriate documentation, including temperature records and product traceability details.

6 . Regulatory Compliance

Our storage and handling practices comply with EU GDP Guidelines, ensuring the quality and integrity of medicinal products in the supply chain, as well as German and EU-specific laws governing pharmaceutical distribution.
