Exercising and wellness during Covid-19 is something that people really need to think about. It is bad enough that even before the pandemic people had trouble with wellness and kilograms. One of the measures against spreading coronavirus was not to go outside. People were urged to stay at home by their governments. This only makes matters worse for people that aren’t active. Now they have an excuse not to be even more. But is the lockdown healthy for us?
Many people struggle with leading a healthy and active lifestyle even before the pandemic. It’s hard to be and stay motivated to be active and eat well. However now, this has become even harder for many of us. The lockdown from last year totally killed any desire to be active in many people. Staying at home, not going out for walks or exercise is even worse.
So what can you do? We wanted to see what people think and did our research with the help of the famous forum Quora. So what do people think about exercising and wellness during Covid-19?
One person, Amy Smith commented on the matter and said: “The ideal way is to have a bit of both a balanced diet and walking around the house or on your terrace. You can opt for a fitness band like Zeb-Fit920CH with features like a pedometer, heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, sedentary reminder, alarm clock so that you can set your walking goal and work towards your fitness day by day and if you’re someone that has a job of sitting all day then the sedentary reminder will remind you to walk too. “
Another person, Andrew Hicks said: “Anything that improves your health and immunity will help.
If fitness means that you have the greater lung capacity, then the virus will have to disable more of your lungs in order to kill you, which gives a bit more time for your body to fight back. However, that extra time may be minimal.
The main benefit is likely to be the synergistic relationship between fitness, happiness, and immunity.”
It is true that we need to find the balance between being active and resting enough. However, this doesn’t mean staying at home the whole day and work out for 10 minutes a day. You have to do more activities and for a longer time, in order to stay healthy.
Walking at a little bit fast pace is one of the most healthy activities that you can do. It doesn’t hurt your knees and it’s not hard to do.
There are many ways to stay active during a pandemic. There are so many sources for examples of workouts. On youtube.com you can find hundreds and thousands of workout videos. There are also different types of activities. You can dance, jump on the rope, do planks, walk outside, clean the house, play with your pet, etc.
The most important thing is to have motivation. If you have the motivation to be active, that will help you stay healthy. Everybody knows that moving and staying active is equal to a healthy life.
Get up motivated in the morning, if not try your best to motivate yourself. Think about how much better you will feel after being active. This will also help you stay healthier and increase the strength of your body and immunity!
